Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Beyond Buckets. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Accounts
Parents and guardians create accounts and are responsible for the player profiles on them. You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You must be at least 18 to create a Parent account and at least 13 to create a Player account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Training and safety
Beyond Buckets provides training tools, drills, and AI-generated feedback for general informational purposes. It is not a substitute for a qualified coach or medical professional. Basketball involves physical activity and a risk of injury. Use the app at your own risk, train within your abilities, and stop if you feel pain. Consult a doctor before starting a new training routine if you have any health concern.
AI feedback
Shot analysis is generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Treat it as a suggestion, not as professional instruction.
Your content
You keep ownership of the videos and content you submit. You give us permission to store and process that content solely to operate the app, including sending videos to our AI provider for analysis. Only upload videos that you or your child are entitled to share, and do not record or upload other people without their permission.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempting to access other users' data, no automated abuse of the service or its limits, no uploading unlawful or harmful content, and no impersonating others. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
Friends and leaderboards
Friend connections are made by exchanging friend codes. Share your code only with people you know. Leaderboards show limited statistics and the app does not include messaging.
Ending your account
You can delete a player or your entire account at any time from the Profile tab. Deletion is permanent.
Disclaimers and limits
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, Otto Digital LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any injury arising from your use of the training content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
